Zoos in uproar

Zoos and animal rescues around the world are in an uproar today as chaos reigns. Initial reports are confusing and contradictory with zoos reporting unknown animals have broken into pens, or that vandals have caged foreign animals in the zoos in the middle of the night. Others are claiming to suddenly be in the possession of animals they did not procure, complete with name and species placards and invoices in their own hand.

Animal control experts and general citizens are similarly reporting the roaming of wild animals they do not recognize. More bizarre reports are running as rampant as the animals that many believe to be part of a bizarre hoax or animal rights stunt.

Injuries and deaths have already been reported this morning as officials are scrambling to mobilize limited resources and regulatory infrastructure. At this time officials have limited information regarding the species of animals involved, or the potential danger to the public from communicable diseases or animal attack, but citizens are being strongly encouraged to stay inside and if they encounter one of these wild animals to contact animal control immediately and not attempt to engage the animal.
